Bob Arum, the promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) expressed serious doubts that the third fight of the “Gypsy King” with Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) will take place before October. The head of Top Rank explained that it is impossible to organize a duel of this level without the participation of spectators, and this will happen only when the ban on organizing public events is lifted.

“When viewers left almost $17 million at the box office [for the second Wilder-Fury fight] how can this be replaced? This cannot be, it is impossible!” Arum said.

“Maybe for Wilder vs Fury fight we have to wait a few more months until we can make evenings with the audience. A sporting event in which box office is a large part of the revenue cannot pass without spectators,” the famous promoter added.
