Eddie Reynoso has already begun discussing future collaboration with former world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-2, 22 KOs). Both sides expressed readiness for cooperation. The boxer has been without a coach for the past few months.

“We need to meet with Andy and talk. If someone collaborates with me, he must be very disciplined. This is a basic principle. Once you reach the top level, you need to stick to a diet, work hard and conduct as many fights as possible. I would like to help Andy to continue his life in boxing after losing to Anthony Joshua,” the Mexican coach said.

Reinoso is considered one of the most successful coaches in recent years thanks to a collaboration with Saul Alvarez. For some time, the undefeated prospect Ryan Garcia and former lightweight champion Oscar Valdes also work with him.

“In boxing, Ruiz needs to improve mobility and change some of his habits so that he can better control the distance. Thus, he will be able to return to the level at which he was when he defeated Joshua,” Reinoso explained.
