After a devastating loss to Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs), the majority discarded Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs). But still there are those who believe in his victory in the third fight against Fury. Among them is the oldest world heavyweight champion in history, George Foreman.
“We had a great conversation. It was a really interesting and valuable dialogue. We covered a lot of topics, and also remembered his career, what he did well and what he did not. He noticed some things in this meeting and told me some tricks,” Wilder said, who intends to add two new people to his team. However, Wilder did not disclose whether Foreman would become one of them.
“George wants to show me different methods of how I can strengthen some parts of my body. Some tips were really interesting. When everything calms down, I will definitely meet him, and we will talk face to face after spending a little more time together. I will use some of his advice because he has a lot of knowledge,” Wilder added, who defended World Boxing Council heavyweight belt ten times before losing it in rematch to Fury.
It is currently difficult to say specifically, but the third fight of Fury and Wilder has been postponed until October 3.
