When Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic is finally stopped and boxing tournaments resume, former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-2, 22 KOs) will have a new ambitious goal. It is returning of the titles he lost in the rematch with Anthony Joshua in December.

Whenever this happens, there will be another coach in Ruiz' corner. After the defeat to Joshua Ruiz left veteran coach Manny Robles Jr., who led him to a sensational victory over Joshua last June. More than five months later, it is still unknown who will be in the corner of the Mexican, although recent statements suggest that it may be Saul Alvarez's coach.

“I do not exclude such cooperation and I agree to train Ruiz with pleasure. Of course, if he adheres to the right discipline. In the end, coaching Mexico's first ever heavyweight world champion would be a real honor for me,” Reinoso said.

“I want Eddie Reynoso to train me,” said the Destroyer, who has been training twice a day for several weeks already. Ruiz also claims to have included regular running in his workouts, which he really dislikes.
