WBC and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence, Jr. (26-0, 21 KOs) announced on social networks that he intended to return to the ring in August. For the American this may be the first appearance in the ring after a car accident, which occurred in early October.

This event for Spence looked awful. 29-year-old boxer has lost control of his sports car, which rolled over, and fell out of it. As it turned out later, Spence was driving under the influence of alcohol. The accident looked very dangerous, but the boxer has not received serious injuries, and after consultation with the doctors resumed boxing workouts.

"I will return to the ring in August, I have a few options. If Manny Pacquiao wants to fight me, we can do it. There is also the option of a duel against Danny Garcia. I also want to fight Terence Crawford. If we do not get the fight this year, we'll do it in the next," Spence said.

Before the accident, it was planned that Spence will fight on January 25, and his opponent was going to be Danny Garcia. The American had two fights last year. In March, he defeated Mikey Garcia on points, and in September, after a hard fight judges felt that he was better than Shawn Porter.
