Alvarez vs Saunders no earlier than in June

Due to coronavirus pandemic the fight of Saul Alvarez (53-1-2, 36 KOs) and Billy Joe Saunders (29-0, 14 KOs) which was scheduled for May 2, will not take place. The earliest date this fight can take place in Las Vegas is June and this time is not accurate, because it is still very difficult to predict the future because of the pandemic.

Nevada State Athletic Commission, which authorizes all the fights in Las Vegas, yesterday suspended all sporting events until March 25. On this day, the commission planned a meeting at which the suspension is to be prolonged likely.
