Magomed Ankalaev commenting on his victory over Ion Cutelaba agreed that the referee stopped the fight too early.
"Unfortunately, during the fight I was not given the opportunity to win decisively! I agree that the stoppage was too early, but this stoppage is not my fault. We were in the top 15 of the division and I'm looking forward to new challenges! Once again thank you all very much," the fighter wrote in his Instagram.
The duel between Ankalaev and Cutelaba was part of the UFC Fight Night 169 and ended by Magomed's TKO victory in the first round.
