On April 25 at DAZN platform in Indio, United States, a former light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (34-4-1, 29 KOs) returns to the ring. 36-year-old Russian has to cross gloves with Sullivan Barrera (22-3, 14 KOs).

For Kovalev it will be a return to the ring after losing to Saul Alvarez last year. Recently, Buddy McGirt, the coach of the Russian, announced that Krusher could soon move up to 200 pounds, but it looks like the fighter himself rejected this possibility.

At the same evening there will be a fight for the WBO junior middleweight title between Patrick Teixeira and Brian Castano. 29-year-old Teixeira won his belt of the World Boxing Organization in November, defeating Carlos Adams. The Brazilian has also recently been mentioned as a possible opponent for Terence Crawford, who could challenge the world championship belt in his fourth weight category.
