Initially, the duel was planned at the turn of February and March, but recently the date of the battle was constantly changing. In addition to the injury Golovkin have another problem. The fighter from Kazakhstan month ago ceased cooperation with the SNAC Training Center owned by Victor Conte.

"Gennady could not do what we expected. I had to ask him to leave our center, but I wish him good luck in the future," Conte said in an interview to ESPN.
