Naoya Inoue's bout in Las Vegas is officially confirmed

April 25 in Las Vegas are the date and the place of a unification bout in the bantamweight division of Naoya Inoue (19-0, 16 KOs) and John Riel Casimero (29-4, 20 KOs). This duel has been officially confirmed by Top Rank promotional company, which the Japanese have recently signed a contract with.

30-year-old fighter from the Philippines knocked Zolani Tete in November quite unexpectedly and took his WBO title. Naoya Inoue, who won WBSS tournament in November, owns WBA and IBF belts.

Former featherweight champion Andrew Cancio (21-5-2, 16 KOs) also debuts on Top Rank card as part of the evening. 31-year-old American will meet Tyler McCreary (16-1-1, 7 KOs), who in his last battle lost to Carl Frampton on points.

Fans in Las Vegas will also see Alex Saucedo in action, who will hold a second bout after losing to Maurice Hooker. Also this evening at the Mandalay Bay complex there will be a fight between Joshua Greer and Jason Moloney.
