It seems that in the end, the former undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) will meet Derek Chisora (32-9, 23 KOs) in April, but not on March 28 as was originally planned. Promoter Eddie Hearn said that the fight would have to wait a few more weeks.

"We are in the process of compiling the calendar for the first half of the year. In the coming weeks we will have three big fights in the heavyweight division with Usyk, Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua. Each of them will be held in different months," the head of Matchroom Boxing said.

It is already known that at the stake of Usyk-Chisora duel there will not be the title of WBO Heavyweight Champion. The winner of this confrontation, however, will receive the status of mandatory challenger for the title of Anthony Joshua, who owns the World Boxing Organization belt.

Usyk made his debut at the heavyweights in his last professional bout by defeating Chazz Witherspoon. Chisora last fought in October, when he stopped his compatriot David Price.
