Pulev earns quarter of a million for a fight with Booker

Kubrat Pulev (27-1, 14 KOs) earned a quarter-million dollars for Saturday's fight against Rydell Booker (26-2, 13 KOs) on Top Rank boxing evening in Fresno. American's purse will be 30 000 dollars.

Before next May Pulev will face the winner of the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. The Bulgarian last boxed in March, defeating Bogdan Dinu.

In the main event of the evening in Fresno Lamont Roach met the WBO featherweight champion Jamel Herring. Herring for the fight earned 300 thousand and 100 thousand dollars went to Roach.
