Berinchyk defeats Moreno on points

In the main event of evening in Brovary, Ukraine, Denys Berinchyk (12-0, 7 KOs) scored a lopsided victory by unanimous decision over Patricio Moreno Lopez (26-4, 19 KOs), defending his WBO International lightweight title.

From the very beginning, despite the significant height advantage of the opponent, Berinchyk seized the advantage in the ring, moved a lot and threw a large number of punches. Moreno was much slower than the Ukrainian and often hit the air with his punches. Thanks to the decent chin and good stamina Moreno lived up until the final bell.

After twelve rounds Berinchyk celebrated the victory 120-108 twice and 120-109.

It is also interesting that after the fight in a conversation in his corner Berinchyk said that initially he thought that the fight had been scheduled for 10 rounds, and he had found out about 12 rounds only in the 9th.

After the fight, Berinchyk called out Teofimo Lopez and Gervonta Davis.

On the undercard Oleg Malynovskyi (25-0, 7 KO) scored one sided unanimous decision over Vittorio Parrinello (11-4, 2 KOs): 79-74, 80-72 and 79-73.

Also this evening middleweight Dmitry Mitrofanov (7-0-1, 5 KOs) scored fourth round TKO win over Novak Radulovic (9-5-1, 4 KOs).
