Gassiev's heavyweight debut could land on November 30

On November 30 in Monaco former unified cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev (26-1, 19 KOs) can finally return to the ring at the boxing evening from the British promoter Eddie Hearn. For the Russians it will a debut in the heavyweight division.

It was assumed that 26-year-old Gassiev will be back in July in Arlington, but the Russians health problems thwarted those plans. Recently Gassiev was also going to perform on October 12 in Chicago, but again due to problems with his shoulder this fight did not take place.

It is possible that Gassiev finally interrupts his series of injuries, and will be able to come back this year. Acknowledgments on this issue should appear in the coming days.

Last time the Russians fought in May last year, losing to Oleksandr Usyk in the final of the World Boxing Super Series. Following this fight Gassiev had surgery on his shoulder, and after the rehabilitation has announced his transition to the heavyweights.
