As the press service of the Academy of Martial Arts RMK reported, 2016 Olympic champion Evgeny Tishchenko (5-0, 3 KOs) in his next fight on November 2 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, will face the undefeated Issa Akberbayev (20-0, 15 KOs) from Kazakhstan. WBO Intercontinental title will be at stake in this meeting.
It is worth noting that Akberbayev did not fight since December 2017.
Tishchenko was a sparring partner of Tyson Fury in his training camp in the US for the fight against Otto Wallin.
