Lineker is out: UFC decides to terminate the contract with John

From now John Lineker is not a fighter of the UFC roster. Promotion management took the decision to break the contract with Lineker and provided him with the status of a free agent.

Back in May Lineker asked for a bout or asked to dismiss him. According to John, he can not afford to sit without fighting, he needs to pay the bills and feed his family. Lineker was offered the fight on June 22 with Rob Fontan but eventually withdrew from it due to an injury received during training.

John has 16 fights in the organization in which he obtained 12 victories.
