Joshua is not going to change his coach after Ruiz defeat

Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs) has commented on Saturday's defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-1, 22 KOs). The Briton lost to the Mexican "Destroyer" by technical knockout, and lost his WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts.

"I am a warrior and I can suffer defeat as a victory. I lost on Saturday. But I always say, do not let discouragement take hold of your head, and failure - of your heart. You need to keep a cool head, life goes on. I will continue to think like a champion, because boxing is in my heart," said AJ.

"Congratulations to Andy Ruiz, he has six months to be a champion up to our rematch. The contract included appropriate item of rematch, date, location and so forth," the former champion added.

Anthony Joshua has denied rumors that he was boxing worse than usual, because he was poisoned, and in the dressing room before the fight he suffered a panic attack. Joshua also assured that he's not going to change Robert McCracken as his coach. The Briton said he was ready to fight with Ruiz in New York again, but admitted that he would prefer the UK.
