Former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson announced that he is returning to octagon. According to Ferguson, he is ready to fight again. Previously, he was suspended from fighting in connection with family problems. Tony’s wife said that he had serious mental problems. After that, UFC President Dana White said that Ferguson would be allowed to compete only after being examined by the organization’s doctors.
Ferguson tweeted, that he met with UFC leadership in Las Vegas. The results of the negotiations are unknown, but the fighter announced his return.
The last time Ferguson went to Octagon was in October 2018. He won by a technical knockout over Anthony Pettis.
