In the main event of the sixth RCC tournament in Chelyabinsk, Russia, Alexander Shlemenko stopped Viscardi Andrade in the third round. The fight turned out to be truly spectacular - in the first round Shlemenko was on the verge of a knockout, but was able to endure the pressure of Viscardi, turned the tide of the battle and in the third round knock him out.
After the fight, Shlemenko commented on the fight: “I am a professional, in my career there are more than 60 fights, my style is tough and hard, I don’t regret either myself or my opponent. In the first round I made a mistake, I went to trade punches with a person who was not yet tired, who was still fast, sharp, so I missed a couple of punches and let him work. I must pay tribute to Andrade, he is a very strong guy, I beat off my arms on him. I could also fall, but I will repeat it again: this is my style.”
Shlemenko also noted that he wants to lead the next RCC tournament, which is scheduled for the summer: “I hope that I will lead the RCC7 tournament, which may be held in July. I am not the organizer of the RCC tournaments, but it seems to me that I am very good at the main fights. In my life in the main battles, I fought more than usual - all my fights are very spectacular and public like them. My fights show people that everything depends on us, even when everything is against you - you can be the first. I have a great desire to perform in the main battle of the RCC7,” Shlemenko said.
