According to media reports, the authorities decided to arrest a woman for entering the ring without the hijab. In addition, Khadem is accused of conducting training under the leadership of a man, which is also illegal in Iran.
It is reported that the Federation of Amateur Boxing of Iran did not intervene in the case and said that the boxer was a private individual at the competition.
Khadem is the first athlete from Iran, who managed to win the international boxing match.
