Easter vs Barthelemy ends in a draw

The bout of former world lightweight champion Robert Easter, Jr. (21-1-1, 14 KOs) and the former world champion in two divisions Rances Barthelemy (27-1-1, 14 KOs) was declared a draw by the judges. According to the results of the very boring 12 rounds, at which vacant WBA lightweight champion title was at stake, and which was the main event at the Cosmopolitan arena in Las Vegas, the judges gave the following scoring: 115-113 Easter, 115-113 Barthelemy and 114-114.

After the final bell, both fighters expressed a desire to take a rematch, but it is unlikely that viewers will want to see this “spectacle” again.
