Former UFC super bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw has been suspended for two years from performing by the USADA anti-doping agency.
On January 20, Dillashaw descended into the bantamweight division to meet with champion Henry Sejudo, but lost by knockout on the first minute of the fight. In TJ's doping test, taken before the fight, they found traces of the prohibited substance erythropoietin.
Thus, the 33-year-old athlete will be able to return to the cage no earlier than January 21, 2021.
Earlier, Dillashaw voluntarily gave up his championship title. On June 8, at the UFC 238 tournament Sejudo and Marlon Moraes will compete for the vacant title.
