Usyk: I have achieved everything in the cruiserweight, now I intend to repeat it in heavyweight

The undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksander Usyk shared his emotions from his first fight in the heavyweight division against Carlos Takam.

“May 25th will be a very important date in my boxing career, as I’ll go up to the heavyweight. Speaking on the cruiserweight, I achieved everything and became the undisputed champion of the world, and now I am going to repeat it in the heavyweights.

“This challenge will begin with a bout against Carlos Takam. It will be a difficult battle. But on the way to the goal, you need to check yourself in battles with world-class rivals,” Usyk said.

The fight will take place on May 25, in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
