Usyk vs Takam on May 25 in Oxon Hill officially announced

On May 25, at the MGM National Harbor arena in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Oleksander Usyk (16-0, 12 KOs), the undisputed cruiserweight champion, will have his first professional bout as a heavyweight.

The opponent of the undefeated Ukrainian, who still owns the WBC, WBO and IBF belts in 200 pounds, will be former world title contender Carlos Takam (36-5-1, 28 KOs).

At the same evening, in separate battles, two other interesting fighters of the heavyweight division, Philip Hrgovich (7-0, 5 KOs) and Michael Hunter (16-1, 11 KOs) will be presented.
