Gaethje knocked out Barbosa in the first round (video)

The American lightweight Justin Gaethjeknocked out the Brazilian Edson Barboza in the main event of the UFC on ESPN 2. Opponents, as expected, started the fight very boldly and actively exchanged low-kicks, and then boxing combinations. Gaethje managed to hurt Barboza with one of his blows, but the Brazilian managed to recover, clinching his opponent.

Justin continued to go forward, throwing a hail of punches and disregarding the defense. One of the hooks sent the Brazilian to the floor. The finish off was already unnecessary. The referee stopped the meeting at 2:30 in the first round.
