The UFC fighter Peter Yan of Russia commented on the decision of the former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor MacGregor to complete his career in MMA.
“This is his business. I think he earned good money. That's right, why him waste health? Enough. He has other things to do, the same business, but his health must be protected,” said Yan.
“This is the right of everyone to end his career or not. Of course, when you are hungry and dangerous, you crave to perform and earn. And when you have everything, you no longer lead the life of a professional athlete, but only try to be on a level with the guys who live this business for days.
“To keep the bar of motivation when everything is, one can say, unreal. I do not think this is a PR move. Maybe he will perform in boxing for a couple of times. Why should he fight now? He actually earns several times more on whiskey than in MMA, so why get hit in a head anymore?” said Yan.
