BJ Penn to return on May 11

Former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion BJ Penn will return to Octagon on May 11 at UFC 237 in Brazil, according to MMAFighting. Penn will face his compatriot, an American Clay Guida.

Penn fought for the last time in Octagon on December 29, 2018 at the UFC 232. He lost to Ryan Hall with a painful hold in the first round. For the legendary American, this defeat was the sixth in a row in his career - the last time he won the UFC tournament on November 20, 2010 defeating Matt Hughes.

Guida last fought at the UFC 225 tournament on June 9, 2018, losing to Charles Oliveira. In total, he has 52 MMA fights, in which he scored 34 victories.
