The UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov paid the full amount of the fine according to the decision of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. “The entire amount of the fine was received by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Also, as Khabib promised, he paid fines for his comrades ($50 thousand) and paid for the services of a lawyer ($200 thousand),” Nurmagomedov’s team informed.

At the end of January, the Nevada State Athletic Commission disqualified Nurmagomedova for nine months and fined him for $500,000 for the brawl after the fight against Conor MacGregor. The fighters of Zubair Tukhugov and Abubakar Nurmagomedov, who also participated in the brawl after the battle, received one-year disqualifications and fines of $25 thousand.

The disqualification of Nurmagomedov could have been reduced if he participated in social advertising, but he refused. The UFC champion later announced that he plans to return to Octagon in November.
