Gvozdyk to defend on March 30

The next bout of the WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksander Gvozdyk will take place on March 30 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The fight will have the status of voluntary defense. At the moment, the name of Gvozdyk’s rival and the arena where the fight will take place are unknown. The upcoming Gvozdyk fight will headline the tournament of the promotional company Top Rank. The event will be broadcasted live on the ESPN channel.

Mandatory contender for the WBC light heavyweight belt is Marcus Browne, who defeated Badou Jack this month. However, the WBC gave Gvozdyk the right for one voluntary defense.
