WBO light middleweight champion Jaime Munguia (32-0, 26 KOs) scored a convincing victory in a spectacular bout over the previously undefeated Takeshi Inoue (13-1-1, 7 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Persistent and tough Inoue delivered problems for Munguia all evening, but the champion looked better in his attacks and powerful punches to the body. The scores were: 119-109 and twice 120-108.
