Kavanagh: Conor earns more on whiskey than on fights

John Kavanagh the coach of the mixed-style Irish fighter Conor Macgregor is not sure that the former UFC champion in two weight categories will continue his career.

“I don’t know if he will still fight. I know him as a person, and I know that it will be difficult for him to return after two defeats. Even if one of them was in boxing. He is 30 years old, he has two children and a big contract for whiskey production, which makes more money than fights. Would you stand up in the morning in such a situation to get punched in your face? I don’t think so. But he can call me tomorrow and say: “Why did you say that? I will fight in March." So I don't know," said Kavanagh.
