Alexander Emelianenko withdraws from Barroso fight due to injury

MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko of Russia refused to fight Francimar Barroso of Brazil at the RCC tournament in Yekaterinburg on December 15 because of an old elbow injury. Emelianenko will be replaced by Mikhail Mokhnatkin of Russia.

“Today it became known that Alexander Emelianenko will miss the RCC5: Russian Cagefighting Championship due to the recurrence of the old injury in the elbow joint. Instead of him, another Russian fighter, Mikhail Mokhnatkin, will fight Francimar Barroso,” the message of RCC reads.
