Terence Crawford (34-0, 25 KOs) scored 12 round TKO win over Jose Benavides Jr. (27-1, 18 KOs) in the main evening of the evening in Omaha, Nebraska. Thus, the 31-year-old Crawford defended his WBO welterweight title.

26-year-old Benavides from the very beginning tried to attack and force his opponent to defend himself, but Crawford made no mistakes and effectively counterattacked. As the battle progressed, Benavides’s attacks became less and less accurate, while Crawford got landed more and more.

In the twelfth round, Crawford sent his opponent to the desks with the right hook to the chin. Benavides stood up, but the next series from his opponent was the last in this fight. Thus, Crawford for the first time defended his title, which he won in June of this year.
