The legendary MMA fighter Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic continues to delight his many fans with successful performances. As part of the Rizin 13 tournament in Saitama, Japan, a 44-year-old Croat defeated the 32-year-old American Roque Martinez.
Filipovic successfully controlled the course of the battle and disturbed the opponent with his trademark high-kicks. Martinez tried not to succumb and to control the corner of the ring, where he tried to attack his distinguished opponent with a series of punches and knees. In one of these episodes, Mirko conducted several uppercuts and struck a heavy blow with his elbow, after which a serious cut appeared on the American's forehead - the referee interrupted the fight. After the doctors examined the injury, it was decided to end the fight.
