Lebedev knocks Altunkaya out

WBA cruiserweight champion "in recess" Denis Lebedev (31-2, 23 KOs) scored a stoppage victory in the third round over former world title challenger Hizni Altunkaya (30-3, 17 KOs) in the main event of the evening in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

Altunkaya was on the floor in the second round and capitulated in the third round.

Lebedev is a mandatory contender for the title, which is currently owned by the undisputed cruiserweight champion Alexander Usyk.
