New Zealander Lucy Brown died after sparring. The athlete received a fatal blow to the head during training. At first, 31-year-old Lucy quickly recovered. She just took a break to drink water, then she felt sick. Brown was taken to the hospital in critical condition by a plane, where she was connected to the life support system for several days and died on August 22.
In 2011, Lucy Brown was diagnosed with cervical cancer. The girl beat the disease, after which she was seriously interested in boxing. Later, she took part in the tournament Golden Gloves in Australia and was up runner there.
