Fury beats Pianeta, will meet Wilder in the fall

In one of the main events of the boxing evening in Belfast, former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) scored a one-sided victory over the former title challenger Francesco Pianeta (35-4-1, 21 KOs) and cleared his way to the fight in the fall in the US against WBC champion Deontay Wilder, who watched the battle from the ringside and commented on the duel for the American television channel Showtime. The referee's score was 100-90.

After the announcement of the winner, Wilder rose in the ring to his future opponent. Fury and Wilder after a couple of respectful words about each other, still could not resist and again arranged a verbal skirmish. It is expected that next week the parties will sign a contract for a duel in November in Las Vegas.

Fury promised to knock Wilder out, Wilder replied that Tyson would never get his title.

According to Frank Warren, who was also present in the ring, the fight is on.

Compared with the previous fight in June, Fury dropped more 18 pounds.

It should be noted that, according to the organizers, 25,000 spectators attended the Windsor Park in Belfast, despite the pouring rain, which was a record of the attendance of boxing events in the city.
