Lebedev returns on September 7

WBA cruiserweight champion "in recess” Denis Lebedev is going to return to the ring on September 7 in Chelyabinsk, Russia. "On September 7 Chelyabinsk will host an international boxing tournament with the participation of Denis Lebedev," the press service of the promotional company RCC Boxing reported. - The tournament will be held at the site of the ice arena "Tractor".

The opponent of Lebedev is not determined yet. According to the resolution of the WBA, Lebedev has the right to meet with the owner of a full title, which at the moment is in hands of Alexander Usyk. Usyk’s promoters are currently negotiating with the representatives of Tony Bellew for the fight in the autumn, after which Usyk is likely to move to the heavyweights.
