Khan vs Vargas on September 8 in Birmingham

Former champion in two weight classes Amir Khan (32-4, 20 KOs) will fight next on September 8 in Birmingham against the Colombian, settling in Canada, Samuel Vargas (29-3-2, 14 KOs).

"One of my goals for this year is to be as active as possible. Therefore, I am very happy to return to the ring against Samuel Vargas," Khan said. "Vargas is a tough and well-trained fighter who has fought the best, including Danny Garcia and Errol Spence Jr."
