WBO Oriental lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk commented on his victory over Colombian Jose Luis Prieto and told why he stopped co-operating with coach Sergei Vatamanyuk. "I want to disclose my condition and fulfill the plan for the fight, since we work with the coach for 12-15 rounds and are set to go the full distance. But when you start to add from round to round, you make a small decline to roll out the last rounds - but that's it, stop. Vasyl Lomachenko also accelerates and leaves all the strength and energy for the last rounds. And today I had time to rest, I was going to increase the tempo at the end.

“I'm not happy with the fight, because I'm tired, I could not do much, missed after my attacks. I saw everything, but I did not like it. I still have much work to do. Of course, discontent can arise due to the fact that I spent six months at home, and then went out to box. Let's sit for another six months and I will be 43 - a career is developing well.

Now I'm training with the famous Ukrainian coach Stanislav Grigoruk. We were acquainted, I trained with Malinovsky and looked at their work. When Vatamanyuk was leaving with Usyk, we could not even see him for six months. I understand that he was indifferent to my career. He carried out coaching and managerial work, but was incompetent in this matter. Therefore, he was dismissed, allowed to deal with his questions. Of course, he was not told so, but now he raises the pitfalls and spoils the mood in the team," said Berinchyk.
