The top Russian MMA middleweight Alexander Shlemenko expressed his desire to have a rematch with the Brazilian Bruno Silva, and also shared his further career plans. "To be honest, I'm very glad that Silva signed with M-1 Global. I do not know yet on what terms and how many fights. But, if he signed with the organization, then we are close to the rematch. If I have this opportunity, then I will take it happily. And for myself, and for people who came to support me from different parts of the country.”

“Nevertheless, for me it is much more important to hold the last fight under the contract with Bellator. Now I wait for information from my manager about the date and place of my next opponent.

“The UFC has always been on my sights. Now I am more than ever close to signing into this organization. I have one fight left on a contract with Bellator, and the UFC starts hosting tournaments in Russia. Now this promotion is much preferable for me, because they often hold tournaments. I'm ready to fight every two months," Shlemenko said.
