Charlo drops Trout, wins decision

In one of the main events of the boxing evening in Los Angeles, WBC light middleweight champion Jermell Charlo (31-0, 15 KOs) scored a majority decision over former world champion Austin Trout (31-5, 17 KOs). Trout was knocked down in the third and ninth rounds. The score were 113-113, 115-111, 118-108.
