Machida retires Belfort with a severe knockout (video)

At the UFC 224 tournament in Rio de Janeiro, the famous Brazilian middleweight Lyoto Machida spectacularly defeated no less eminent compatriot Vitor Belfort.

In the first round fighters were not very active, only rarely exchanging blows. A little sharper and more accurate was Machida, who attacked with blows of his feet on all the "floors". In the next round, the veteran continued the started, but already at the beginning of the second minute Machida conducted the most accurate front kick, sending Belfort to the floor.

After the battle, 41-year-old Vitor Belfort announced his retirement in the MMA.
