The information on the confirmed bout between spectacular UFC fighter Zabit Magomedsharipov and Yair Rodriguez and Zabit Magomedsharipov is incorrect. This was reported by the Russian manager Rizvan Magomedov.

Previously, the media reported that the fight between the athletes will be on August 4 at the UFC 227 tournament in the US.

"This is not true. We do not want to fight on this date, three fights within six months - this is too much," said Magomedsharipov.

On April 7, Magomedsharipov defeated the American Kyle Bochniak, after which the Russian athlete signed a new contract with the UFC for four fights.
