Former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler admitted that one day he would like to meet in a cage undefeated UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

"I think that Khabib and me are the best fighters in the world. He never lost in his career and looks invincible. In my record there are defeats from Will Brooks and Eddie Alvarez, but it was a long time ago, almost five years. It is necessary to believe that in five years a person can climb to the top from the very bottom, and if you do not believe it, then you have completely lost faith in yourself. I believe that I have become mentally, physically and spiritually the best lightweight on the planet.

"Most of all I want to meet Khabib Nurmagomedov. I have all the necessary skills to defeat him. He will not be able to take me to the ground. As for my skills in the stance, they are on a different level," said Chandler.
