Lebedev gets ready for WBA title fight

Russian Denis Lebedev says he began preparing for the fight for the title of the champion of World Boxing Association (WBA).

"At the moment I'm waiting for the finals of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS), where Murat Gassiev will meet Alexander Usyk. The rules of Association state that no one can be an absolute champion until he fights me, and if one of them refuses, then WBA takes his title and I fight for it with the other contenders. Since we are talking about the belt of the absolute champion and these guys are not timid, we will find a rival, the question is only in the price and venue. But now I need to reduce my weight. I became powerful and heavy. I move slower. But I've been preparing for two weeks now, and putting myself in order," said Lebedev.
