Carl Moretti, vice president of Top Rank, and Eddie Hearn, head of the promotional company Matchroom Boxing, met in California to discuss further fights of British lightweight Luke Campbell in the United States. Moretti and Hearn met in one of the Manhattan Beach hotels, where they came for the fight of Oscar Valdez vs Scott Quigg in Carson.

According to the preliminary plans of Moretti and Hearn, Campbell will have to hold two fights in the US: in the summer and in the autumn this year. It is expected that, with all the favorable moves early next year, Campbell may meet Vasyl Lomachenko, who will have his next bout on May 12 in New York in the lightweights.

According to Moretti, the meeting of two Olympic champions - Lomachenko and Campbell - is likely to take place in England. "Eddie really liked this idea, Luke liked it," Moretti said. "In the next few weeks, we will discuss all the details of this fight."
