Duva: Kovalev will return in July

Promoter of WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev Kathy Duva outlined the approximate terms for the return of her client, and also spoke about his possible rivals.

"We are considering July, there are several free dates. This issue is on the agenda. My first choice would be Arthur Beterbiev, but now he has legal problems. The next option will be Badu Jack, if he overcomes Adonis Stevenson. Of course, if Stevenson wants to meet Kovalev, then for us it will make sense. But I do not think that he has changed his mind and will ever want to fight Kovalev.

"To organize a fight between Kovalev and Bivol, Dmitry needs to improve his record, then this meeting will become a more significant event. Also, Marcus Brown may well become a mandatory challenger for the WBO belt," Duva said.
