McGregor: I have surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor reported on his official page in Instagram that he outflanked soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo in the list of the highest paid athletes according to Forbes.

"It will be very interesting to look at the list of Forbes with the most paid athletes. Now I have surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo, as I promised in 2016. Floyd Mayweather is already retired, so he will not be in this rating," wrote the Irishman.

This statement is not yet possible to check, since the list of the highest paid athletes has not yet been published.

In 2017 29-year-old McGregor had only one fight, which became for him a debut in professional boxing. For the fight with Floyd Mayweather Irishman earned about $100 million.
