Berchelt defends his title

WBC super featherweight champion Miguel Berchelt (33-1, 29 KOs) scored a convincing TKO victory in the third round over Maxwell Awuku (44-4-1, 30 KOs) and defended his title at the main event of the evening in Cancun, Mexico. Awuku was twice on the canvas in the third round and the referee stopped the fight at 2:43 after the follow up barrage of punches.

WBO/WBC cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk attended the event. Usyk was on vacation those days with his wife in Mexico.
